A couple of weeks ago Jordon mentioned to me that he wanted to get a new lens after Christmas. It was on sale and was three hundred dollars off. I said sure and he said he would pick it up on December 27th. I never thought too much about it until Christmas when Jordon gave me an Olympus interchangeable lens camera and then told me that the lens is for me. Today he came home with a 40-150mm zoom lens.
It’s the equivalent of 80mm to 150mm on a 35mm camera (I am still trying to get me head around crop factors) so it will be great photographing the kids, dogs, and sports.
Of course Mark has his own new lens but it’s a coffee mug. Having a steaming cup of DSLR in the morning is one thing he can do that mine can’t. Then again, I can take photos and his can’t. Life is full of tradeoffs.
